County, NJ Contact: The HCIA provides Household Hazardous Waste Collection Days
in the Fall and Spring where residents of Hudson County will have the opportunity to
rid their homes of dangerous materials that cannot be thrown away in regular trash
collections. ITEMS THAT MAY BE BROUGHT TO COLLECTIONS
ITEMS THAT MAY NOT BE BROUGHT TO COLLECTIONS
Explosives or Highly Reactive Materials may be dangerous. If you have these types of materials, call first for safety instructions. DO NOT bring these materials without prior authorization! These dangerous items include, but are not limited to, picric acid, isopropyl ether, calcium carbide, perchloric acid and benzoyl peroxide.
