The HCIA provides Household Hazardous Waste Collection Days in the Fall and Spring where  residents of Hudson County will have the opportunity to rid their homes of dangerous materials that cannot be thrown away in regular trash collections.

In addition, each municipality now has its own permanent used motor oil and antifreeze collection areas, so residents needn't wait for HHW days to get rid of these items.

Don't forget to bring proof of residency with you, such as a driver's license or a phone bill, when you come to the collection site.
