Focus Recycling Systems, Inc. ("FOCUS") of NJ and NY has obtained approval from the USEPA and the NYSDEC to operate as a large quantity universal waste handler in accordance with the EPA Universal Waste Rule.

The FOCUS universal waste-handling facility is authorized to handle batteries, mercury thermostats and certain pesticides from various sources, including household/residential and certain conditionally exempt generators. Other processing capabilities will be added in the future, such as paints, motor oil filters, aerosol cans, electronics/CRT’s and appliances.
